baikal
Hi all, Not sure if I'm in the right place, but here goes. When is the best time of day to call upon farmers to seek shooting permission? They work hard all day, get home for a well deserved sit down and bite to eat. So when is the best time? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance. Gary.
Scully
There isn't a good time; just call. It's the luck of the draw.

Konnie
Depends what type (crop) farmer they are around here its combine/sugarbeet/ potatoes/drilling starts to calm down once the weather keeps them off the land, then they are only happy if drilling is in,

If you have been watching fields def call by when the birds are hammering it saying you have seen this and would like to offer some help. If you can't get them in person try and get a number. Jason_ox
If they're an arable farmer usually they won't be out in the field when it's raining or the grounds too wet to work. However they may not be in the best of moods because of it!
