Hello Dougy i hated them speer HP i was after match & gun shop got it wrong.Did you mean BT (balistic tip) or (boattail).Try load 3/5 round's at start then the same 3-4 time's till your max data so you have about 3-4 load's of 3/5 round's to try from start medium to max & see fit group's.I have done this with mate's 243 in 80g nosler BTip & found that my 3rd set of 3 load's worked well at 41g H380 but i can go to 43g but he wanted to try to that & the last load's worked a treat. This is fit i do with any new bullet's that i have untested & i seat on or 10/30thou fae the land's then i might play with point odd of a grain or primmer's etc but normally just do my set's of 3-4 load's start to max & try & get a result that work's.

Bit of a novice on this so please bare with me.

i have had some good help from Ive and Miffy on this as its my first CF.

we have tried loads from 33grns > 37grns tried changing the seating depths and 5 different bullet heads.

A max/ V max Nosler/ Speer hollow point V max moly pluss factory ammo. And different powders.

and primers.

it could be down to having just over200 through that its improved, i dont know. as for 41grns well its showing sighns of pressure at 37 so 41 i thinks pushing it a bit, :good: dont know

Hello have you cleaned it? & 41g H380 in my mate's 243 not 22.250.I have a few powder's but work Vit N140 but you have H380 the same burnning rate realy!.

50g bullet H380 MAX 38g or (41g Hodgdon 2000 manual)

52/53g H380 MAX 38g

55g bullet H380 MAX 37g or (41g Hodgdon 2000 manual)

I used to get on great with BL-C2 33.3g 55g v-max 5p group & got more for £10 with varget for £10 to try i use cci primmer but got fed 210 & 210match but think i will go back to cci as i did well with them.Watch match primmer's & max load's as these primmer's burn hotter & create greater pressure than normal primmer's.Try playing with seating depth on land's & even well back off & see some thing might just click.
