kiezshooter
Hi everyone just looking for abit of advice really please I've been wanting to get into wildfowling for a very long time now. I've been shooting since I was a little nipper with my grandfather and the only thing I've been shooting on is woodies , corvids , and also vermin as I've got my firearms licence but I would really love to start getting into it all . The problem I've also got I've got no one that I can go with , and I just want to get the taster of it all first before I start getting into it big and learning all the ropes of wildfowling because I no it's totally different than going out in the morning setting up a hide to shoot wood pigeons 😬 I live in north wales I've been I touch with some of the wildfowling clubs and they say you need to go out with a member of the club , and quite a lot are full . Just really need to no the best way round it all really thanks very much for ready. Regards kieran.
Konnie
Look at the BASC wildfowling permit scheme. then explain your situation to club and ask if, something could be arranged.

nic
i know that there may be a wait, and you would have to go out with someone for at least 10 flights, but you live just off of really good estuary. I was a member of the Dee Wildfowlers till i moved back south its worth the wait

Tim Kelly
You might be able to hire a guide for a day to give you a taster? I did it donkey's years ago with Frank Wright on the wash. Great fun.
motty
Was it perhaps Sid Wright or Frank Harrison, rather than Frank Wright?
Tim Kelly
Harrison, quite right. Great character. I think I knew more about his adventures with his piles than anyone should know by the end of the weekend!
Penelope
Sitting in muddy gutters will do that for a man. I do believe they should be called 'fowlers' rather than 'farmers'. Harrison, quite right. Great character. I think I knew more about his adventures with his piles than anyone should know by the end of the weekend!
