bishop
I remember putting something on the brass die to help stop this happening. Its not busted chipped or "broken" and i cant remember why it does this as i aint used it in 15 seasons!!!! Any ideas??
Smokersmith
I use a bit of Vaseline. Also, do not use too much pressure as this can also 'chomp down' on the case.
Continental Shooter
yeah, silicone or Teflon oil would suffice, alternatively, a heat resistant lubricant would do the job

bishop
Dun think so i washed it out and lubes it up.the problem is this--apply pressure to the clamp that pushes the brass and then turn, thats when it starts to fold in on itself as a fold/ tram line..and its not a lot of pressure im talking about..you need some to get it to do the job after all! I've tried all ways but it seems humped. Edited November 23, 2016 by bishop
