Ruger precision who has one ??

I know ive seen a thread or two about these but how are people finding them and what accuracy are you getting out of them (pics would be nice) im in two minds whether to get one or get a bergara and put a nice stock on it which would work out the same or cheaper

I think I saw some in my local RFD, approx £5k if I'm thinking of the right one.

 

Be cheaper to have a custom rifle made exactly to your own spec surely ?!

They are around £1500, I have handled one and I would have one if I was a target shot.

I think there are a few offerings just under the 1500 but yea i basically want to know is it a bargain for what you get or are they a clever marketing ploy

I don't own a ruger precision but I do own a begara b14 and it's the best rifle I've owned, I also have a tikka t3 and had a Sako 85 estate rifle and the begara is better than the tikka in terms of accuracy and smoothness and just as good as the Sako in build quality

You won't regret a Begarra. Ruger I've shot a few none have made me think that was nice all been hmmmm I'd not pay that. Rugers not for me but you might like it.

Apologies, perhaps I'm thinking of the Barrett ?

It's still a fair few ££, I wonder how they would compare to a custom built rifle.

A B14 in a nice stock even a grs should be cheaper than a rpr aswell
