jgknott
RSPB VP caught disturbing birds of prey, I am sure there is a good caption contest here somewhere... http://www.thecommentator.com/article/6455/rspb_ruffles_feathers_after_police_drop_charges_against_its_vice_president
JDog
Men in high places no doubt had some influence on the decision not to prosecute. The RSPB will suffer badly as a result of this.

Smacks of it. CPS gave two reasons why the case was dropped. One was his age. Damn me, the man is only 73, so you bet the other one - circumstances surrounding the commission of the offence - is equally a load of bull. Unless it makes the mainstream media outlets on a national level I doubt this very much. The RSPB appear to be very good at keeping under wraps any news they regard as damaging to their collection boxes.
