ElvisThePelvis
Any views of this vs HMR (forgetting ricochet for a moment) would be appreciated, specifically trajectory and effect upon bunnies out to 130 M, thanks!
kennett
I can't say for definate but I don't remember my cz being particularly accurate with the hypervelocity stuff, velocitors and expediters. Used to make a mess of foxes at sensible ranges, 50-60yds
casts_by_fly
Good luck finding a high velocity 22lr that consistently shoots rabbits at 130 yards. The 17 wins hands down. The 17 does 2550 fps. That is a full 1000+ fps on top of hv 22. Rick
oowee
I was using them in my CZ out to 80m on fox but accuracy starts to suffer beyond this. I think anyone that is good with subs and ranging would prefer to use subs and would see no advantage in the HV and plentyof downside with the noise. I am now using HMR and where the .22 would go straight through the HMR seems to vapourise in the chest and rarely exit. I also find the HMR much easier to shoot accurately.
