Blundy
I'm in process of getting kitted out , got 3 whistles and leads , tennis All's and couple of dummies ordered but I see on videos most have a game bag on . Are these empty just used for carrying game or do you carry spare lead , whistle dummies etc?
Grandalf
One whistle - my fingers. Four dummies. Starting pistol and blank cartridges when appropriate. Lead is on the dog when we start out. Other odds and **** when required.
scotslad
It depends wot age ur dog is and wot stage of traning ur at, ie basic simple training all u need is 1/2 balls/dummies in ur pockets. When u get more advanced so needing more dummies a bag can be handy but i prefer a smaller bag than a game bag, u also get waistcoats/bodywarmers with big poachers pockets at back are really handy too. tf the videos ur watching are FT types training they are carrying a game bag to try and copy a FT scenerio so dress the same so dog doesn't know any difference between a training day and a competion. E.w.
Try learning to walk before you run, you are getting a little ahead of yourself, best of luck.
