Colc08
It'll soon be time for me have a phone around for poult prices for a small farm shoot i've taken on for next season. I am a little out of touch with prices but I'm thinking poults will be at around £3.80 a bird but how much pellet will I need for 250 birds and how much it likely to cost per bag/tonne? kennett
Can't help you with price, but for 1000 I get through about 3t.
ColinF
There's a feeding guide here: http://www.heygatesfeeds.co.uk/pheasant-feeds/ Bear in mind that Heygates use 20kg bags, but some other suppliers use 25kg bags. Last season I paid £3.50 per poult, £288 per tonne of grower and £260 per tonne of poult pellets in 25kg bags. I haven't had prices for the coming season yet, but no doubt prices will increase a bit

malantone
due to bird flue at high fly and I believe one other breeder, I can see poult prices being considerably inflated,
