Benellimelody
I am considering selling the above direct to a gun dealer. It is is good condition, with extended briley chokes and a hardcase. Just wondering what would be a reasonable price to expect?
Scully
Have a look on GT it Gunstar to see what others are selling at, as a guide.
Gordon R
Whatever they are worth on GT isn't what a dealer would offer you. I disposed of a Blaser about 18 months ago for a friend. One dealer wouldn't buy it, the other offered £1k - it was a minter. Got rid privately. Mate just disposed of a side by side Arrieta for around £1.2k - dealer has an identical one - possibly the same gun - £2750.

Gordon R
Sorry if it sounds depressing. I have sold guns to some dealers for more than I paid, others have given excellent trade ins, but the last few occasions has been a bit of an eye opener. Private sale is slower, but better financially.
Hamster
Blaser are one of those funny guns where current owners can't speak highly enough but once they sell them and get a new (invariably better) gun they open up and tell you all sorts. The later ones are well engineered and I'd be perfectly happy shooting one as long as it had a low rib and fixed chokes, the flare on the multi chokes is ridiculous and the high or even mid rib variety are evidently sticking around on shelves now that that particular marketing ship has sailed. In short I'd be amazed if the trade bid sensible money because the knowledgeable shooters in that price range tend to look elsewhere.
