I had one of the first 22.250s that Steyr ever made, a varmint model in about 1991, it was very poor accuracy wise.

Most 22.250s cannot hold a candle accuracy wise to a 222 or 223 , great killer though. Pleased you opted for a 223, I am sure that accuracy has improved, I did hear of several other rifles in the same batch that were re tubed, the throats were very long,

I have to disagree with this, not all .22-250 are inaccurate. My Sako 75 shot 1/4 Moa even with a fire cracked well used barrel and friends Remington 700 shoots a 4" square gong at 750 yards almost ever shot.

+1 no accuracy problems with my tikka t3 .22-250 it's like a tack driver would never go back to a .223
