lurcherboy
Haven't used the 'horseshoe' for ages but would put them at the extremities of any pattern that was laid. LB
Cranfield
My starter setup is to put the rotary up wind of where I want the birds to land. The floaters, I put on the flanks , just behind the rotary. If this doesn't seem to be working, I will change it.

pin
My experience seems to agree, head of the pattern and perhaps further out than the head for the electronic movement. Floaters/angels way out behind (like 50-70yds) flanking both sides of the "entry" to the pattern works fantastic, steers them down the "runway"

Country Boy
At this time of the year the only place for your magnet is in the back of your garage CB
