where do you put your magnet and flapper in the horse shoe?

i tend to put my magnet at one end at the back and the flapper near the very front.

where do you think works well?

i allways put flapper near back,and rotary near front ,and off to side a bit,if possible ,a bit higher ground,seems to do ok,when theres birds about,been so quiet lately

Haven't used the 'horseshoe' for ages but would put them at the extremities of any pattern that was laid.

My starter setup is to put the rotary up wind of where I want the birds to land.

The floaters, I put on the flanks , just behind the rotary.

 

If this doesn't seem to be working, I will change it.

I always have the bagnet to one side of me and torwards the front if not at the head of a pattern.

My experience seems to agree, head of the pattern and perhaps further out than the head for the electronic movement.

 

Floaters/angels way out behind (like 50-70yds) flanking both sides of the "entry" to the pattern works fantastic, steers them down the "runway"

At this time of the year the only place for your magnet is in the back of your garage
