How straight does it shoot? ] The rifle is superb, I got all three rounds touching 1 inch above the bull at 100 yards. I shot a Muntjac a couple of months ago with it. Small hole in small hole out. But the heart and lungs were totally smashed. Before anyone mentions it, I know a 30.06 is to large for muntjac but the animal was still saleable. However, I believe that a 30.06 is not too big for Muntjac. I have shot many of these little critters with this calibre. With the right ammo and a well placed shot, meat damage is minimal.
