drut
Spent some time trying to cull troublesome dog fox using all the tools/skills I imagined I might have: .222 + nightvision + patience/calling/ baiting etc.All to no avail, but went out with .22lr looking for rabbits and at dusk who presented himself for an easy 50yd headshot ? You couldn't make it up.

mel b3
Foxing can be a funny old game . I spent a few months trying to shoot a very crafty little vixen , it had already nailed the farmers chickens and a few of his ducks , id seen it loads of times but never long enough to get a safe shot, I eventually ran it over early one morning as I approached the farm. Over the years , ive shot many more foxes with the .22lr whilst rabbiting , than I have shot with the .243 whilst foxing.
