tikkamark
Has anyone used the different coloured filters for lightforce lamps that are ment to cut through fog do they work?Or is there any lamp out there that can cut through the fog enough to spot a fox and shoot it safely? The reason i ask is i hate it when you have a bit of time off to do a bit of lamping then look outside only to find its foggy and then you cant go

They are all useless in the fog. Stay at home and have a beer instead!
Frank
Fog is impossible to lamp in, no matter how you try. Better off ferreting the next day. Their is that safety thing too and some eyes, especially sheeps eyes, can be very misleading in fog , if you do get to see any eyes that is with fog about. Frank. Axe
Blue or green seems to get through slightly better but I reckon thats due to the decrease in output they give. The only way to lamp in mist is a second pair of hands, that can hold the light to one side. This will stop olot of the reflection you would normally get get. To be honest though, your never gonna beable to cut through it well enough to warrant staying out in it.
grasshopper
Or a set of arms like a gorilla so you can lamp under the fog,ie like fog lamps on a car. But even this only gives you a little further and not enough to be sure of a safe shot. GH
