iano
Stupid question, but are the "thingys's" inside the mod facing the right way? It is a cheap mod that came with the gun, honestly, I use it more for the gun's balance than as a mod (.22lr subs so not a lot of noise anyway). They are lined up so that the gas is expanding into 'chamber' and I'm guessing then that this reduces the amount that makes it into the next chamber, just checking to make sure that this is the way to have them. Stonepark
I would say yes, as noise/gas should be propelled back towards the breach
moongeese
I have a .22 rifle made by Bruno that came from Kettner in Germany, it has a short fully silenced barrel with the same design of baffles, and I just went and looked and the are the other way round, the narrow end towards the breech. Thanks - I just noticed that the threaded end seems to be cut to take the wider end, so I've reversed them (they are now in line with your setup). Guess that will throw my zero out now... but it might deaden the round a bit more
moongeese
You may find, they will work anyway round. This rifle is the quietest .22 I have heard, and these baffles do work well.

I find it the loudest when shooting at the range. Running RWS Hollow Points through it mostly
moongeese
I use Eley subsonic all the time, but my rifle will have more than 5 baffles. I have just been looking at the pictures you posted, and as I said my rifle is fully silenced the mod does not come off it is all part of the barrel set-up, where I see your mod is a seperate item, it is totaly different. , but as I said the baffles in my barrel are set-up the other way round.
