yup, lasted longer than my genuine dremel although, sadly, both are now no longer with us.

Original Dremmel died ,Mr Lidl copy still here 1 year later and much abuse cutting steel ,aluminium,brass just clean with an airline so no metal dust trashes the motor.A bargin

Good bit of kit

I recently bought a "swivel saw" off of one of the shopping channels, it does everything a dremmel does and more.for knife making its a blinding bit of kit. Also cuts concrete steel alluminium, takes the place of numerous power tools and comes with just about every attachment you need.

 

Never owned a dremmel but did buy a vanhause rotary tool which lasted me donkeys till it finally gave up the ghost. replaced it with the above and so far am not disappointed.
