nnorman32
Hello Lost the front bead on my Baikal OU 27, metal frame still in place but red fibre gone walkies. Guide says size is 6/48 so a smidge over 3mm? I don't use the bead to sight but it feels odd not having it there. So, should I replace or just unscrew the frame and stop moaning? N. I would unscrew it and ignore it. I've never used the bead for 'aiming' on all the shotguns I've used. When I started clay shooting many years ago, the club gun had the bead removed, and I learned to shoot very well without it.
Old farrier
Stick a red match in the hole 😊 Or if you want a brass bead the screws from a old plug socket often fits screw in and file up sorted All the best Of
