Poacher
Hello all, got a little bored yesterday so decided to go shooting , borrowed a camera off a flat mate and headed to the park. Not the best quality but helped passed the time Some fallows basking in the afternoon sun Some more Some reds on the move, (i sat watching these fellas for aboout 30mins and in that time caught 5 ticks crawling on my legs ! (rather stupidly i was wearing shorts B) still thinking i might find one feeding on me any time) A warning to others especially re: lymes disease. These chaps were pretty nervous with the young born around so tried not to disturb them. A few young reds, And not forgetting some of the old trees (i didn't bother setting the date on the camera) An ancient oak The central lake And finally a cheeky chappy stealing eggs

Pedro
Great pics We lived in Kew many years ago, (Mrs P. worked in the gardens), and I used to go up to Richmond park all the time. It was like a breath of fresh air seeing all the deer wandering around, and a great tonic to working in town. It was a bit surreal seeing them with a backdrop of a block of flats though P. Yeah Richmond park has been a home from home of late, I'm at Kingston uni and our halls are right up on kingston hill, so practically everyday i venture into the park for a cycle/run or wander. Sadly term is ending in a week or two, so i have to move out but i have enjoyed it. As you say a perfect tonic

LEFTY478
Nice parkland at Richmond. About thirty old years ago, I did a sponsered walk around Richmond Park, in my Cub Scout uniform . Boy was my Mum proud of me!
