mossy835
I've never heard of him either, but bad news for his family. +
Mungler
'In the end' and 'numb' are of their time classics. Very sad. Talented guy with quite a unique voice.
lord_seagrave
Was never really aware of them, even though I was a fan of the genre. Chris Cornell's suicide was pretty shocking for me, and I subsequently learned that this may have been an influence on Chester's suicide. Bad times, and it once again underlines the need for men to talk more unashamedly about depression and mental health. LS
Lord Geordie
I am 46 and know this group well, their style is very good at drawing new interest in old and current styles mixed together. My son is 22 and loves the group too! The music is fantastic!

LS And there's the rub, People like us (Shooters) won't talk about depression OR mental health because of the fear of having tickets revoked, so we just bottle it up until it's too late, If the only good thing left in your life was getting out and having a shot would anyone risk losing that, that may be the final straw
Mungler
Indeed, I know plenty of people who objectively I would say 'self medicate' rather than see a quack and have it stamped on their notes. Now, I'm off to huff a NO2 balloon. Interestingly, I saw recently that this is commonly referred to as 'looning'.
