Minox bino's???.

Hi all.

Was thinking of getting a pair of 8x43 HG. They seem to get a good write up. About 7to8 hundred pounds.

So has anyone on here got Minox and if so how do you rate them.

I have a pair of Minox BF 10x42 and find them excellent. They cost me £119, and I bought them from this place. www.ffordes.com

I have the same as billie the gillie the 10x42 and find the clarity excellent, looked at others around the £100 mark and nothing came close. I can only speak from personal experience. I would google the model of reviews.

Yep, I've a set and I think they're great, suit me perfectly.

 

I would advise that you go and look through as many bins as you can before you decide on any particular set. I set out to buy a £1500 set, and came home with the Minox 8x43HG's, but you may decide they don't suit you, another thing to consider is that the case is pants.

 

Have to say, on price you should be able to pick up a set around £650 or less, even with the state of the pound v euro so worth shopping around.

I have an old pair of 10 / 50 night and day minox bins . I have had them for years and wouldn't part with that . They are really fantastic in low light . I used them for stalking and spotted many deer in low light that I wouldn't have seen with the naked eye . They will put many bins costing much more to shame .
