ips
Didn't know that 👍 Bowlees visitor centre is were we started then over a suspension bridge at low force walk up river cross back over before high force through hotel car park and followed a track over the moor back to bowlees. Had a nice lunch outside the cafe then drove through Middleton. A nice morning was spent by all and parking was by way of a donation so a few quid chucked in. Dog asleep now 😁 Edited August 7, 2017 by ips

The originaĺ bridge got destroid with people on it at the time.it was built for workmen to cross over the river.think they were either miners or the quarry. Gibson cave is up behind were you parked.i am on a face book site for old teesdale. Lots of happy memories.hope you enjoyed your stay. Dazza9t9
I live in barnie. Lovely place, not lived here overly long but getting to know the area well. Some great walks too I don't have any permission in the area (yet) but I have attended a farmers shoot in the season and it was brilliant. Hoping for another invite this coming season
