ewoodie Posted June 20, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 20, 2007 I don't think that I know what you mean, sorry for my bad english, but it was an oil finish, and after a few hunting trips with crawling trough wet sand, it went very smooth and with new oil on it, looks even better then before. ewoodie Posted July 3, 2007 Author Report Share Posted July 3, 2007 can we see the set up u have for making the stocks and nice work I use only home working tools, and a router for inletting, did buy a cheap grinder and use 40 grid sanding disk for shaping, the grinder with the very rough paper shape the wood like a hot knife in butter.
