wymberley
A new development has sprung up around the corner from me consisting of two large houses. Bearing in mind we're not talking Westminster town houses, and I've already commented that who would buy these which are bound to be priced well, well north of half a mil when they're not more than 2 yards apart. Well, someone has bought one of them. Just passed by getting some fuel and there's a car parked outside with a sign in the front and rear screens - "Don't buy ******** House until you've spoken to next door". McSpredder
Maybe a clever technique. Buy one house, deter anybody from moving in next door, then hope to snap it up a bargain price.

wymberley
hello, same near where i live, i could think of a better location for £500,000 each, oh right by a stream that floods every year Seems it was the original house which has been refurbished and another (now sold) built in the grounds. Way out in my guess - offers in the area of £1m. No doubt 'er indoors will find out what's going on.

Could be the buyer is having quality problems and a very long snagging list the builder wont attend to.

Longbower
Same around here. Flat Pack houses erected, and services installed by 'non English speaking' (tradesmen , Hahahahaha) Selling for 750,000. to muppets with beards and top knots . (Even funnier.) No thanks ! I will keep my double brick terraced , built by 'time served' tradesmen who took some pride in their profession, From a time long ago ,before they raised the school leaving age to 26 when you didn't have to have a degree just to get a job selling shoes.
