herby
Hi All I really need to take out life insurance as on the wrong side of 40 and have a little Daughter. My question is do I take out the increasing cover or decreasing cover? I know its a personal situation thing but is there a no no?
Bentos
Need more to go on really but investigate family income benefit, pays an income fir a fixed term, decreasing plan so costs less
Lloyd90
May also look into pensions etc. A family I was working with the other day, the father passed away several years ago but the pension gives a "half pension" to each of his children until they finish their educations. These young ones had additional needs and carried on a few years and are still receiving support which is used to help them significantly. Bet the fella's looking down thankful for that policy
Fatcatsplat
Get as much as you can afford - My circumstances changed this year and I am unable to purchase any significant amount of life coverage and am basically stuck with my death in service benefit. Don't put it off 'til tomorrow - Get what you can today. Take a look at Tesco and Aviva
