BrowningDJC
Thinking of buying one of the above in 410 for my oldest and with a view to keep for my youngest after him. Any owners opinions on yildiz guns?

Wingman
I have one for my boy .410 OU single trigger non ejector. He's been using it for a year with no problems it's a great little gun.. I had the stock shortened to fit him when I bought it. I would Recommend the gun for a young shooter and will certainly do him until he progresses to a 12 bore. welshwarrior
Use a few of them in 410 for teaching kids to shoot generally find the do better with the sbs than OU
BrowningDJC
Welshwarrior is there a reason why you have more success with the sbs? I would rather start with an over and under
welshwarrior
My view is the sbs give an easier to see sight picture to the novice not much wider than a 12 bore this stops them in my experience trying to line up a narrow line to the target. I believe this is what's doing it but we (8) instructors have all noticed kids shoot better with our 2 sbs guns than our 3 OUs same chokes and cartridges and even same children sometimes now I'm testing it me. The sbs Yildiz is a single trigger pistol grip, the weights are very similar and our guns balance similarly which has brought me to the conclusion it's the barrels. It's something when I get time I want to investigate further and getting to the bottom off Edited October 3, 2017 by welshwarrior
