Dan7626
Basically I've got a 3 gun cabinet which was fine when I got my shotgun ticket as it was plenty big enough. Since then I've got 2 rifles and it's way too small and I'm scared of knocking the scopes and damaging them. The only thing is I'm stuck for space where the cabinet is bolted and couldn't replace it with anything bigger as it wouldn't fit so I was wondering, is it possible/legal to mount a cabinet horizontal? If so I could get a 2nd cabinet to go next to my existing one. Thanks, Dan.

TIGHTCHOKE
It is the licence holders responsibility to secure the weapons, how you do it is up to you.

billytheghillie
Perfectly legal, in my old house the cabinet was bolted to the floor joists horizontally in a cupboard.
Dan7626
So all I need do is fit it where it needs to be and get my FAO to come and give it the thumbs up?
vmaxphil
The feo does not need to be informed as said above it is your responsibility for security, my feo hasn't seen mine for 15 years
