Mungler
I’m looking for a steam cleaner or wet/dry vac unit just to do car upholstery, home upholstery and the stairs carpet. There are small units specific to these tasks from Karcher and Bissell. Anyone have one or have any experience of these? Cheers all.
martyn2233
Had this one a few years now had no problems https://m.bisselldirect.co.uk/bissell-lift-off
Dougy
Rug Dr do a simple cleaner that has upholstery attachments that will do your car. We use a prochem diesel truck mounted cleaner for our type of cleaning but that's a tad too big, at round 30k it's hardly DIY. If you need some cleaning chemical let me know, we have all sorts. What or why do you want to clean, is it general build up or specialists type clean ie blood, vomit or other bodily fluids ? I do cleaning after homicides but that is rather expensive. R1nut
We use a bissell and find it very good, with 4 dogs it really does come in handy.
hodge911
when I had my garage I had a karcher puzzi 100 and it was great when I closed the garage I kept it and done carpets around mine and family homes with good results only had it breakdown once when the suction motor went but only cost £80 for a new one Edited January 6, 2018 by hodge911
Mungler
Cheers chaps. The wife’s car is a Mazda 5 and as much as I dislike it really is the best utility vehicle ever - from carting the kids and their mates around to folding the seats flat and using it like a van for tip runs when we were having years of building works carried out. The car only has 30k on the clock but it looks like we’ve been keeping chickens in it. Alas, £20 with the local bozzos won’t touch it and it needs something industrial. At the same time, 3 kids who have little regard for carpets or soft furnishings have taken a toll. The totality of the areas to be cleaned isn’t vast and so I only need a small unit but it would be nice to get one with a heated fluid option - it strikes me that a hot fluid cleaning solution would have a better result. Dougy
I can send you some chemicals to try if you want with instructions, they will remove all the stains that we face. Edited January 6, 2018 by Dougy Spell check

hodge911
the puzzi 100 has a clean water tank that you can make the water hand hot in with solution mixed in and then a dirty water collection tank / bucket cleaned some really dirty cars with mine when I had it all with very good results Edited January 7, 2018 by hodge911

But a majority of the time we use one of these
