decroyffe
And he didn't mention it was 32" And he didn't mention it was 32" Never mind the length of your weapon - What about my butt stains? it's great here
ChrisNicholls
Apologies for reviving an old thread - I too had a quick waggle with Munglers weapon today and was surprised at how light and responsive it felt, made my cheap gun feel clumsy by comparison. A quick check on specs however showed it's actually lighter than my gun. Tempted, sorely tempted.

ME
Apologies for reviving an old thread - I too had a quick waggle with Munglers weapon today and was surprised at how light and responsive it felt, made my cheap gun feel clumsy by comparison. I have done some studying on this matter that concluded that Mung has the Game stock with the 32" Sporter barrels. I tried a 28" game version in Essex Gun recently and asked Neville to weight it and it was still heavier than Mungs. Can keep a secret ?........ I think Mung has a special order "gaylord version" or something. Rgds LV EDIT: here is the post with Mungs gun weight - http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...+your+gun+weigh I have just looked at a few on Guntrader and the two with weights listed were 8lbs 2oz & 8lbs 4oz. If you are seriously looking I would avoid 32" barrels (hard to re-sell should you want to) and try quite a few different ones as they are all very different. Chard
I'd get an F3 if I wasn't skint I'm quite heavy with oil on the metalwork when I clean guns, so hopefully I wouldn't get the fingerprints.
ChrisNicholls
Thanks for that LV I thought I saw somewhere that you could add weights to the stock and under the fore end, perhaps Mungler's has all the weights removed, either way at 7lb 6oz it is a lot lighter than the claimed 8lb odd. Chard - I thought I saw somewhere that the problem with finger prints had been eliminated on newer models? C'mon Mung, fess up - is yours a custom jobbie? Chris The very newest ones have alot more adjustable weights. The older ones are Game (no weights) and Sporter (adjustable / removeable weights in the stock). The weights ARE removeable in the Sporter (like mine was) but if you take all the weights out it just becomes barrel heavy and loses the whippy pointability.
