Lloyd90
Went out decoying on an invitation today and had a decent day half way through we had a phone call asking us to sort out a fox in a trap rather than going to get a rifle I suggested it likely safer to use a shotgun. Luckily the fella who trapped it had a 410 double barrel hammer gun (an Elbar I believe) which was very effective as close range. It was side by side 410 with a side push down lever to open it and great fun I’ve googled them and found one on gunstar but it’s very marked on the stock and metal from the pics any ideas what’s a good price for a side by side 410? It was great fun to have a play with!
steve_b_wales
Take a look at the Yildiz S/S .410. I bought a mint 2nd hand one off a mate. It s excellent and well made. Should be able to pick one up.
team tractor
I had the same off wabbitbosher for £30. The stock was intact but a slight pitting in the barrel. It was for a friend who was well chuffed.

The one online in much worse condition is up for £195 ?♂️
thepasty
Was it like this? I bought that one off Mel for £125 for my lad, its a cracking little gun! so light and folds to go in a back pack if needs be. I had a look around a while back and they do seem to be going up in price. Just had a quick look and found these... https://www.gunstar.co.uk/belgium-made-410-bore-gauge-side-by-side/Shotguns/982005 https://www.gunstar.co.uk/elbar-hammer-action-410-bore-gauge-side-by-side/Shotguns/938714 https://www.guntrader.uk/guns/shotguns/unknown/hammer/410-gauge/170911103619959 https://www.guntrader.uk/guns/shotguns/belgian/side-by-side/410-gauge/180214191639485 https://www.guntrader.uk/guns/shotguns/parkemy/side-by-side/410-gauge/171006121308003 https://www.guntrader.uk/guns/shotguns/unknown/hammer/410-gauge/170911103619959 Last two look the best, one needs the wood work sorting. thepasty
Oh and the luck didnt stop there, I asked Mel if his wife could make a leather sling with my lads initials engraved, the sling arrived, great bit of leather working and then Mel very kindly gifted it to my lad! My son loves it!
team tractor
I swear it looked like that. Wish I’d had the 2 now. They were nothing like that condition but looked the same.
