As a new member I have just been reading  all the  forums.

Its a very good site and the first dedicated to pigeon shooting I have found.

I have been shooting since my early teens, mostly "rough" shooting, with some periods of game syndicate membership also.

I retired at 50 and spend my time travelling, fishing or shooting (mostly pigeons).

I look forward to participating on the forums.

  • 5 years later...

ahhhh...I remember it like it was yesterday, the joining of a pioneering brother. :stupid:

To this day, I still wonder what happened to Steve from Northern Ireland, he just stopped posting one day, and that was it. Never did get a reply from him after that. B)

*** were you on that night Cranny :stupid:

It appears to me to be a very respectful and adult way of introducing myself to a new site and the existing membership, which I believe was less than 50 at that time.

Although it was only 5 years ago, it seems like much longer.

lol..... still lost me on where your post came from.

But then you're a God on this site so it doesn't really mater :/

naddan28 posted on a 5 year old thread, which brought it back to the top.

Well yes I posted, after Biff had revived/bumped it 23mins before me!

Cranners, do you have any special moments you would care to share with us from the last 5 years? You have seen more than most on PW and folk come and go, we have lost a few good friends to the big man upstairs, and some of us have been lucky to meet new ones via this Forum. I for one have found some good advise, good friends, had a few giggles along the way what about Cranners top 3 threads of all time???

pavman, I would agree that some enduring friendships have come out of Pigeon Watch and there are a few friends we still miss.

I would have difficulty selecting the three best threads, not only because there have been so many, but I have problems some days even remembering my name. :/:yes:
