Or is it another example along with dog fighting of there being one rule for "them" and one rule for us? I doubt with the sums that are reported to be bet by the illegal coursers that the fine was dear as the topic heading suggests, more like loose change. The bbc would have you believe anyone owning a Lurcher and walking it is an illegal hare killer, they did the same on countryfile, saying watch out for lads with black terriers and terrier boxes in their cars , if in doubt call the police with their registration ? Thats the worrying part, call the police of you see someone walking a dog. All dogs are bread for a purpose, working or fancy. Just because we own working dogs does not make us law breakers..
