SMK M22

I have just been convinced to buy a new Artemis M22 from a firearms specialist friend. Only going to be using it for rabbiting. Can’t really find many reviews on the internet. Not used it yet and it’s my first PCP. Hopefully in time to come I’ll be getting my Section 1 so didn’t want to spend a fortune

Not a review just my opinion. Ive had a cheap precharged before and it was awful. Whilst I appreciate that a company won't get better without sales to fund development I think you'd be mad to buy one new (if you are) as it WILL break and parts are going to be a **** to get. You'd find a aa s400 or bsa scorpion for same money which are proven trusted makes.

The only review I did see was the reviewer saying the magazine was loose from new and it took a tin of pellets to bed in. Bedding in, fine, but loose magazine from the off, how badly built is it internally if that a main external part? I dunno if it fits and you like it buy it. It could be a gem.

And trust me I'm not a gun snob either, far from it, my go to gun is a remington express xp which is basically a smk synxs but full power. But I did shove a tbt tuning kit in as it was dreadful before.

Take no notice of the 2 comments above and read genuine reviews for people who are using them.

SMK is a distributor- not a manufacturer. They supply remington so for someone to say Smk is rubbish but remington is good makes no sense.

Yes, smk do supply some of the cheapest nastiest air rifles there are BUT they are very cheap for a reason. The new Artemis branded stuff is getting rave reviews everywhere, not just the magazine writers who are paid to say a product is good.

I sell a lot of smk stuff and have very few returns, when I do have any smk are very good. They either send parts or replacement items quickly. Usually next day.

The latest m16a is getting particularly good write ups from what I have seen.

I have in stock probably every model of pcp that all supply and have no hesitation in selling them. There are perhaps nicer looking stocks around and some details could always be improved but on the whole I think they are very good and a world away from the cheap old springers that SMK are perhaps better known for.

Put a review on here once you have given it some proper use.

U/d? What does that mean?...I’ll let everyone know how I get on. First venture into this so as long as I’m getting a 5p size grouping at 35 yards I’ll be happy with that. It’s a step in the right direction before getting my section 1. Just want to get some experience under my belt

I'm on that forum but eddy boy above ain't read my post right and has his knickers in a twist. I own a smk if he read my post but let him carry on.

Back to chinese forum,  very helpful and friendly forum for all things chinese with fix it's and tuning for nearly every smk. The reason I bought my remington
