Window in the schedule today, now is it off to the clay ground or have a go at a flight line i've been keeping an eye on (from my living room window)

The draw of the real thing was too much and armed with two hide poles, net, shells, gun and two floaters (KeepItSimpleStupid) at 09.00 the first bird was dropped by 12.00 all the 75 Sipe 32gr 5s in my bag were gone with 57 birds down.

Now without wishing to sound blase the shooting was a bit dull and most shots were gimmes so instead of going to the motor and retrieving some more shells i went home and got the .410 and 200 shells, thought i'd try to get the hundred with that

The ton was made and then some by 17.30 although the average took a sharp dive, i won't say how many .410 shells i came home with but it wasn't many

In all a great day and would recommend anyone wishing to sharpen up a bit to take the little gun out once in a while you may surprise yourself and come home with an extra bit of satisfaction

Cheers TP

I agree entirely, took the 20 bore out a few days ago and had a brilliant time :good:

I don't know what the hell happened yesterday though, cos I couldn't hit a barn door with it :lol:

P.

But the question is "were you inside the barn or outside" :yp: ??? ???

have done the rounds (pun intended) on the pigeon shells and have settled on one brand or another for a while

but i can quite honestly say that the Sipe are just about as good if not better than anything i've used

i see by your location that we may be buying our ammo from the same place??

Good work that man, glad I am hearing of more people getting some shooting :good:

I like the idea of the .410, I am sure its you reading of the big man's efforts across the pond with the smaller guns that's inspired you!
