Bazooka Joe
Bought a No-10 a good while ago, wasn't happy with the wooden handle that's bog standard, so I fitted a Antler Handle. It turned out quite well, a better fit than the run of the mill Opinel, a better grip, & a bonus it turned the knife heavy which is what I prefer. So, bored the other day I decided on another modification to characterized it by heightened the look to the eye, always a fan of Damascus patterns I set to & was pleased with the outcome. Bazooka Joe
There you go D. I use a pair of cir-clip pliers, the outside cover is spring steel..... insert as in photo 1......squeeze the pliers & you'll see the clip open up. Just open it enough to slide it off......putting it back together is obviously the reverse. Pull the pin out & the blade will slide out. impala59
So now we could change the blade? maybe one of the brilliant knife-smiths on here will make one. Unfortunately would be a bit like triggers broom then I suppose?☺️ Seriously though, a great looking Opinel conversion and more knowledge spread through PW
