sandspider
Hi all As above - can anyone recommend a good pest controller near Chepstow? We have a bit of a moth infestation, and pheromone traps (while catching loads) aren't really denting numbers. Think we need a professional to do a thorough job and finish the little blighters off. Thanks.
panoma1
The problem may be the eggs? They keep on hatching out long after the adults have been sorted....if it's a heavy infestation, the best option may be to remove and dispose of all affected materials, carpets etc?..........Strip and clean the room! Then treat any adults left!
sandspider
Yeah, the carpets in several rooms are pretty full of eggs and moth holes and need to go. But there's not much point replacing them until we don't have small children! (Several years) So the hope is to kill the ******* off in the meantime, or at least reduce them a lot... spandit
How about one of those zapper lights?
Walker570
It has been one of those years. They have attacked and probably ruined a black bear pelt I have had for 20yrs with no problem, treated regularly but this year they are everywhere. In any case, we'd need a lot of them! 21 hours ago, Walker570 said: It has been one of those years. Yeah, bad (or good, depending on your viewpoint) year for insects in general. (Nice to see more butterflies and things, but bad for moths, flies, cluster flies etc.)
