JohnfromUK Posted August 26, 2018 Report Share Posted August 26, 2018 The present Labour position of fieldsports, and gun ownership would not suit most members of a forum who enjoy such activities. The 'official' position isn't very clear at the moment and I believe they are in a 'study' phase, but many of the "anti bloodsports, anti private gun ownership" are from the left ....... a group who currently have a tight hold over the running and control of the Labour party. There is little doubt that many who support labour would like ALL fieldsports to cease, private ownership of any firearm to cease, and any essential vermin control to be done only by licenced operators. The further left on the party want an end to private land ownership. It is all very worrying and with Corbyn in No 10, we will be joining Venezuela and the older (Fidel Castro) Cuba in a state controlled and owned one party state.
