grahamch
Anyone clarify what choke to use for hevishot? Was planning to use 1/4 for most work as l assume it patterns tighter than lead?
Smokersmith
I've long finished my stock of this ... but I had great results with 1/4.
Fen tiger
I used mod in browning inv plus with hevi shot it worked well enough, the dedicated hevishot chokes were tighter though I think the kicks apex chokes were for hevi shot and might be available through the kicks chokes of importers over here. Website will confirm if apex is hevi shot choke or if I got it wrong and designed for something me other shot type. motty
You can use whatever chokes you like. I personally use full / extra full.
grahamch
Cheers. Have about 400 duck and goose loads. Will try 1/4 choke on my maxus and see what happens. Never have used tight choke for anything
