squirrel shooter
Has anyone else had faulty primos gen 2 tripod trigger sticks? I've had 2 of them now and on both occasions, I've had trouble with one of the legs not working, having a refund now and gonna get some Seeland Quad sticks. oowee
I had exactly the same thing. Then bought Sealand. They are good although quite flexible. When on a high setting the clips holding the bottom of the legs do not have a grip strong enough to hold the legs. Remedy is to remove the clips and just use the underlying bolt. I have a set like this you can have for £30. Better still bite the bullet and get the Vipers. Light, rigid very practical with a wide tracking platform and a rubber edge allows easy push out with the stock. They come with clip over plastic noise covers (stops the whistling in the wind) which are carp. Better still is to tape over all the adjuster holes, which reduces water content, stops the noise from the covers sliding about. I do wonder who tests this stuff in the first place. wildfowler.250
I bent one of the legs one mine using it to drag a deer.. idiot! If anyone has a spare leg on a broken one that they’re not after? Apparently they don’t do spares?
Digger79
Had same problem with my sticks, if you unscrew leg from trigger assembly there is a bar that that has 2 ( bolt nuts) on them, these need to 6 inches apart top and bottom of centre of leg. The Heron
Ditch them and buy some Viperflex.
