Pigeon Decoying

were do i put it then!? :*) :P

Mag, from both the replies you have received you can see there is no hard and fast rule and it is a case of trial and error. What works on one day will not necessarily work on the next.

Just bear in mind that the pigeons want some where to land so don't stick it in the middle of the U.

I never use a rotary if the wind is directly behind me? I will only use one when I have a cross wind and I can stick the thing many yards in front of my pattern, the birds do spook with them? but by then they should be in range and in front of you,

as has been said everyone has a different way, mine has been rarely out the last few months, but as I am about to invest in a "lighter model" than the lump of scrap yard I am carrying, perhaps it will be aired more often?

ps without starting ww3 there are two "lightweights on the market" who's should I go for thinking of robustness and batt life etc

cheers K

Hi kdubya!

I have probably been using a rotor much more often than you do.I also wanted to change mine for something lighter with longer battery life.As I go out a lot I have borrowed and tried several ones out on the field. My personal impression is that Pinewood advantage is the best and i have recently purchased one of those.I am really pleased with my choice!
