TIGHTCHOKE
Very good, are they for target or killing?
NoBodyImportant
I use over shot card on the one oz slugs and none on the 7/8oz m Making 00buck, I use an old star crimp on the buck to get 9 pellets. 3 minutes ago, TIGHTCHOKE said: Very good, are they for target or killing? I am hauling trash off this weekend. I have this weird hobby where I blow holes in stuff before it goes to the dump.
TIGHTCHOKE
Not weird at all, we've all been through that game. Biggest thing I shot was one of these; A Vickers Varsity! Edited March 23, 2019 by TIGHTCHOKE
wymberley
Yep, good fun. I shot up several of these with single slugs.

moor man
What's your solid slug recipe if you don't mind sharing? How accurate are the (lee?) slugs, is one better than other? Nice workshop by the way👍 Some of my .357mag cast...

I get about 2-3in group at 25 yards and can ring a 12in gong at 100. The 1oz tumbles without a rifled choke. I don’t do anything with the powder charge so it’s the standard bird shot load. If your only buying one mold get the 7/8oz. I am looking hard at a 357 mold. I’m thinking about picking up a 5in Ruger vaquero.
moor man
That confirms what I'd heard about 1oz. lee slug mold👍 Was planning on trying these too....imported from states, made by BPI, supposed to be stable in flight due to the fixed wad acting as a tail. I shoot a marlin 1894 .357 U/L rifle but struggle to get any accuracy with it past 50yrds with my home load cast. Tryed gas checks, different lubes, weights etc.no luck. The 7/8 has been extremely accurate for me. The bpi ones are to expensive for me.
