mick miller
Quick question, could you get one, maybe two fallow in the back with the seats down? Failing that, thinking on a KAP Landmaster to replace the Def90. Lovely, but costly.
oowee
Thats an interesting vehicle that I had never heard of. I turned down a Jimney as too small for rifles and kit. That pick up looks the business. Can you get them easily?
mick miller
Darren either supplies them complete or will convert an existing jimny into one. They're pretty much a new vehicle other than existing mileage, it's a complete strip down and refurb. You're looking at around 16k for a supplied vehicle, a little less for a conversion depending on the age. He's being doing this for 25 years, has a lot of people copying but no one does it better in my opinion. figgy
With back seats down and front folded you could get more than two fallow in if field prepped first. That kap landmaster looks very good for what your needs are. The Jimny fits through gates and places a defender won't. Genplumb
Yes you can buy you might want to consider a mesh or grill behind the drivers seat to stop them jumping through whilst your driving. 👍
Velocette
As has been said,,if field prepped two will fit in easily, in one of those giant builders bags that sand etc is delivered in,, though I have removed the rear seats completely which gives quite a bit of extra room. It might be worth considering the soft-top version Jimny if you want a really bulky load carried. At the price of a KAP you are virtually into brand new Jimny prices, which would seem to be a better deal .
mick miller
There is also a company called Zuki Ute that makes a similar modification for around 9-10k. You can't buy a new Jimny for love nor money for 2 years.
Kalahari
The premium on a new one seems to be between 4 and 6 thousand! David.

mick miller
Or maybe bide my time and get one of these instead: https://uk.motor1.com/news/304542/dacia-duster-pickup-confirmed-2019/ In petrol 4x4 and with a set of decent tyres, damn near perfect for me.
