The science of a bacon sarnie

Crusty bread, bacon with no fat unless it's crispy, slab of salted butter one side, melted cheese if allowed the other, lettuce, squeeze of brown sauce

My favourite sarnie is

Baguette (whole French stick, not those poxy half's)

Bacon in the middle, 6 medallions minimum

Melted cheese with a small tin of sweetcorn and tiny bit of crushed garlic and sea salt mixed in, in a bowl, nuked for 1 min

Finely chopped lettuce, and red onion

Chuck bacon in baguette (take 1 side of the bread out, its good for the fat dipping which comes off the cheese and allows room for the fillings) , followed by lettuce, melted cheese and sweetcorn over the top, followed by diced red onion. Eat the lot and watch the cholesterol rise sharply. That and pizza and Yorkshire puds are my favourite foods.
