John_R
No work-in-progress shots, I have been doing this in fits and starts for a while. Just a gift for my wife's birthday. It's a 12" blade, some spoons, nuts, washers, steel wire rope and a short bit of chain for a "tail".

John_R
She saw it when just the face, I was undecided about whether to put a wall mount behind it or make paws to free stand. She chose the latter option so fingers crossed. I might put LED lighting on the back so it acts as a light fixture, bouncing the light off the wall. figgy
The saying if she don't like it you'll get it in the neck, I'd stand a safe distance away as she opens it. My wife would not be amused if I gave it as her birthday gift. Hope yours is more appreciative of your time and effort. Quick look online and saw blade sculptures combined with other bits are popular. Edited July 1, 2019 by figgy
John_R
All's well, she is happy with it. I wouldn't have even tried had I been in too much doubt.
