Cranfield
I received my membership envelope for the coming year this morning. When are the BASC going to issue a membership card, that has some chance of standing up to the rigours of life in a wallet ? It looks like something you cut off the back of a cornflakes packet (although the paper is not as thick as a cereal packet) . For the money we pay, couldn't we have a plastic/credit card type membership card ? If my local Fishing Club (annual subs £20) can afford to provide these sort of cards, why can't the BASC. dazza
I agree Cranfield something like a credit card would make more sense

garyb
They do look pretty poor - but not as poor as the CPSA ones ! I just leave mine at home unless I know I will need it.
pin
The CPSA one is like an episode of Blue Peter, make your own bloody card - cheapskates!

I`ve still got my wallet, but its as much use as a chocolate fireguard. If certificates fitted in it, it would be ok. As such i dont use it. Cranfield
dazzyboi, if you look at the stuff you have, you will find a membership card at the bottom of a page, which you have to cut out with scissors, a bit like a coupon in the paper. It's hard to see there even is one! It simply pops out of perforations on the main card with your address on!
