Aled
Hello All Looking for some advice: First things first, am I correct in saying that Bismuth cartridges can be used in older guns which have not been steel proofed? Secondly if so, any suggestions as to where to get the best bargain for Bismuth cartridges? Many thanks Aled
panoma1
Yes, Bismuth cartridges can be used in sound, non steel proofed guns, with the correct chamber length, including Damascus barrels! Using 3" magnum Bi cartridges (if they are still made?) through an old English 3" non magnum proofed gun, may not be a good idea! I dont know anywhere, retail, to get cheap Bismuth cartridges......just cartridges might be worth a look?
