henry d
Just for a bit of fun I bought THIS last summer and my wife enjoyed it so much I am now getting her a bow sports taster session! An 8ft life sized bear or an elk shooting it with home made shafts you've spent time constructing is the nearest you can get to the real thing. Long bow is the real test, I shot one badly for 2 or 3 years. Great achievement if you actually hit what your shooting at 😁 I think my wife would really enjoy field target shooting, we`ll soon find out

Pretty much for next few years, she's so competitive, then as she gets stronger we will need a more powerful bow, matching arrows... ... money pit! washerboy
Field archery is more amateur then target archery, its not as clicky or must win at all cost attitude. Every club is different as is each layout. I only stopped because our club disbanded, we only had 7 members and they were all retired and didn't want to compete only practice and the wood we leased got sold
