BADGER.BRAD
Hello all, I'm thinking of buying a cheap C02 air rifle for the Mrs to have a play with, We have a couple of break barrel rifles but due to a motorcycle accident some years back she struggles to break the barrel but does enjoy plinking in the garden. It will only be 12 meters max. Has anyone any recommendations and am I better going for .22 or .177 ? Thanks everyone 0 replies 123 views Rossco89 January 4 It’s the little triumphs... Ultrastu
The .177 will be a safer option in a garden .as the faster speed and more fragile pellet .means it will splatter on impact with something hard or of it does ricochet somewhere you wish it hadnt. The light weight is less likley to damage /smash what it hits . But if your happy that the risks have been nullified .then a .22 will bosh cans and bottles about more impressively than the .177 especially if you use a flat head version like rws hobbys . Gun choice - smk cp2 all day Or for more fun try the walther under lever cowboy style rifle

Si.F
I have had a Victory CR600w in the past. great little guns that use the co2 capsule (1 at a time) perfect for garden plinking and a cheap price.
