mossy835 Posted February 1, 2020 Report Share Posted February 1, 2020 been out on rape today wind blowing a gale job to keep the hide up.about 400 pigeons there it has been like this for 5 weeks and more.but they wont decoy set up in one place and the go to anther part of the field. more there and off to another part of the field. its just like chaseing pigeons all day, i give up only ended up with 4. Ultrastu Posted February 1, 2020 Report Share Posted February 1, 2020 (edited) Key to that situation mossy .is set up a really good hide within range of a decent sitty tree or wire .and shoot them with an airrifle .there is no banging and the birds will stay in the field .and keep returning to your tree . You can spread a few decoys around the field but dont be too tempted to just have them under your tree as they can put them off .in fact id have your decoys at least 50 yds from your tree .that way they will sit and watch them from a distance while u pick them off .
