captainhastings
Any advantage to have a fair few decoys for ducks in a splash ? I can imaging with geese at least canada's once you turn them with a call. If they see 30 decoys instead of 6 it would be an advantage. Not sure about ducks. I notice the Americans have loads out but they have large numbers. Any thoughts ?
ninjaferret
Yes more the merrier, it's a security thing I think. Safety in numbers
London Best
I used to use fifty Wigeon silhouettes cut from 6mm ply. Set at different angles the birds could always see some of them and they weren’t too bad to carry in a backpack.
mudpatten
The more decoys the merrier, but since you`ve mentioned the use of a call, a skillfully blown call is probably worth half your decoy spread.
